Solomon

Solomon had a way with words when it came to the woman he loved. He took great care when describing her. Solomon carefully looked at each part of her body starting with her feet then moved upward taking great care to compare her to the most beautiful and precious things he could think of. After all, he was describing a princess. When Solomon was done describing her to us you could close your eyes and see her standing there before you. A tall woman with dark hair that was nearly black, the bluest of blue eyes, and a face and body that could have been carved from stone to perfection. The envy of every woman. The love shared between them must have been strong and unshaken, because when he speaks of her one can tell he is totally committed to her, and the princess expressed her devotion to him when she said, "I am my beloved's, And his desire is toward me" With that statement she said I am his and his alone and he is mine. This quote can be found in the masters handbook of life, love and law, the 7th chapter of the Song of Solomon.

Now, here's a question for you. How many of us can describe our wives or girlfriends in a way that will truly do them justice and paint a picture clear enough for someone else to visualize what they look like. And, how many couples in the world today have a love that depicts the same Undivided Devotion Solomon and his Princess had? I'm betting the ones who have this type of devotion to one another actually feel like it was yesterday when the got married or together and they have been that way for many years,

More love and devotion of this type would make our world a nicer place to live. Personally, I have been with my wife for 20 years and counting. Once again, these are my opinions, you can agree with them or not. The choice is yours. Until next time. Godspeed
