Faith Blind Faith

Today I sat down to do my normal 20 of reading. It came to me so easily that before I knew it I had read 30 pages. Now, I thought to my self what am I supposed to get from all this reading? I read the same 30 pages four different times trying to figure out just what it meant and still could not find anything to write. I prayed asking the master to help me find what it was he wanted me to take from the passage he had me read. Then I put my bible down and left it sit trusting in the master to show me the way.
This morning as my eyes were opening I heard these words. "Trust him and he will be there to help you." Then it really hit me. I have been seeing this commercial on tv about being there. Now if I put them together I get what it was I was supposed to take from the passage I read. {Ezekiel 44 to Daniel 10} The writings in this section are about visions, dreams, the rise and fall of great nations and kings, but most of all Faith in the one true living God. If we truly trust in him he will provide and protect us.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were accused of not bowing down and paying tribute to the idol that Nebuchadnezzar had built. When they were brought before him they were given a chance to save themselves by simply bowing to the golden image. However, when the music sounded for the people to pay tribute they stayed true to the one true living God and refused to bow down. For this they were bound and thrown into a fire pit that was made seven times hotter than normal. When they were thrown into the fire the men who threw them in were burned and they were unharmed. King Neb couldn’t believe his eyes and had to ask how many were thrown into the pit. He saw four bodies in there walking around. The son of God had come to the three men and dwelt with them and protected them from the flames. When he saw this he set forth a decree that stated, "no-one was allowed to speak against the one true living God for there was no other God who could deliver like this." Daniel 3:29
Daniel when he was in power honored God three times a day and treated his people well. This caused the other rulers in that land to become angry with him. In order to have him removed they plotted against him. They went to the king {Darius} and had a law made up that made worship to any God a crime for 30 days. Anyone who violated this law was subject to being tossed to the lions. Daniel kept his daily routine and was brought before King Darius who was angry with himself for making such a law had to follow through with the punishment. So he ordered that Daniel be tossed into the lions den with a large stone placed over top. As Daniel was being put into the den King Darius spoke to Daniel saying, " Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you." Daniel 6:16 The king lost sleep and did not eat or celebrate that night as he was worried about Daniel. However Daniel kept his faith and was saved when God sent down Angels to close the lions mouth. When Daniel was saved, King Darius made a decree stating that all must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. Daniel 6:26
"THIS IS THE KIND OF FAITH WE AS A PEOPLE ARE TO DISPLAY TO GOD. IN RETURN FOR OUR UNBENDING FAITH HE {GOD} WILL PROVIDE FOR US IN EVERY WAY. FAITH..... IS A SMALL WORD WITH HUGE POWER. TRY IT. I DO ,,,, DAILY
In this time of people trying to tear Christianity down we should be building back up one person at a time. If each of us would place our fath in God on a deep heart felt level just think how strong not only we as an individual would become but our country would once again be the strong leader it was meant to be. The men in this passage were ready to physically give their lives for their belief {faith} in the one true living God. Today people don’t even acknowledge that they even believe in God let alone have faith in him. The government is also partly to blame for this. This country was founded on Christian Principles. When I was in school we started out day with the pledge of allegiance, and they Star Spangled Banner. There was an English class available to us where the Bible was the text book. Nowadays if you have a Bible in school and your reading it or praying your looked down upon. However if your from some other religion its ok to take time out to pray and read. I’m not saying deny them their rights to practice their religion. But they came to our country if they want to practice their ways that’s fine let them. But, that does not mean that we have to stop practicing our ways of showing out faith and thankfulness to our God. What I mean to say is this. When this country and its people stood up and embraced their Belief and Faith in God we were a strong and proud people. Everything seemed to be going good for us. We were in control because we treated other nations with the respect we were brought up to show. Now that we have gone away from some of our beliefs and some of our freedoms. I mean the freedom is there for us to practice our religion but we are restricted in where we do it. In this country we used to have our government as well as the schools and churches all believing and trusting in God. I think its time we all get back on the same page and start believing honestly and putting our troubles and faith in
Gods hands. A true faith in God will lead us out of this mess we are in. It seems that every few years we go a little wacko and there is lots of hardship to follow. We pull back together and things get better.
In summary, I am by no means saying our leaders are not believers in God. What I am saying is in my own opinion I think if more of our leaders and people in leadership roles were to show their true faith a little more to the people around them. There would be more people willing to trust in God completely.
It is also my belief that people who come to this country are attaching our belief because they know it is our strength. Our belief and trust in God not only in word but in our hearts is our basic foundation of our lives and that of this country. Once again, these are my opinions and you can agree with them or not its your choice. Until we meet here again I wish you Godspeed.

Husbands and Wives

Wives are to be submissive to their own husbands no matter if they are believers or not. Wives let your conduct and gentleness of heart be a witness or guide to your husbands so they may see God's handy work and become one of his followers. Not only do the wives adorn themselves in and outwardly fashion but inwardly as well. It is said that "a Gentle and quiet spirit are very precious in the sight of God." Husbands, you are to dwell with your wife with understanding and honor. Together you are the heirs of the Grace of Life. husband and wife are to remain together for life.

By my understanding if one of them dies the other is allowed to remarry. However, Divorce is not allowed. Moses said it was ok to write a certificate of divorce and dismiss the wife. That is not what God intended. Jesus said," But from the beginning of the creation, God made they male and female; For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. " Therefore what God has joined together let no man seperate."

With that statement God answered the question of gay marriage. He did not say that two men shall be married nor did he say two women shall be married. He did say, male and female shall be joined together.

I am not here to judge anyone, that is not my job. We should all remember this simple phrase. Judge not lest ye be judged. God will be the one to judge us all when the time comes. However, it is up to us to follow the path already set before us in the book of Life and Law until that time comes. Because when it comes time for him to judge us he will judge us on our entire life not just part of it. Once again, i say. These are my opinions you may agree in whole or in part then again you may disagree. It's your choice. Godspeed to all.

Work

We should set ourselves as examples to others. Paul talking to the Thessalonians stated he that does not work does not eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10&11. "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. For we hear there are those who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all but are busybodies."

When staying with family or friends for any length of time. We should make sure we help with whatever needs to be done. Wether it's helping prepare the food for meals, or washing dishes or laundry. Any help will be appreaciated because it makes those whom you are staying with feel better about providing the food and lodging for you. If you are just sitting around and eating their food they are going to get upset with you and quickly boot you to the curb.

This is the way i was raised. If i sat down to eat before i feed the animals i would not be served until i got up and took care of them. A case of you don't do your work, you don't eat my food. Nothing in this life comes for free. This taught me a work ethic that has stuck with me my entire life. I am no stranger to hard work and not afraid to work. I assign small tasks to my kids and its the same way. They don't do what they have been instructed to do they don't sit down at the supper table until its done. It's not like i have them move a house or something, just little things like, fold laundry or mow lawn, or do dishes.

Even in these tough times it still bugs me when people sit and claim a check without doing anything to earn it. i know there are those who simply cannot work for a medical reason these are not the people i am talking about. The ones i am talking about are those who are strong and healthy and fully able to work yet choose not to. The ones who won't even look for work.

Once again, these are just my opinions and you can choose to agree or disagree. Until next time..Godspeed

Solomon

Solomon had a way with words when it came to the woman he loved. He took great care when describing her. Solomon carefully looked at each part of her body starting with her feet then moved upward taking great care to compare her to the most beautiful and precious things he could think of. After all, he was describing a princess. When Solomon was done describing her to us you could close your eyes and see her standing there before you. A tall woman with dark hair that was nearly black, the bluest of blue eyes, and a face and body that could have been carved from stone to perfection. The envy of every woman. The love shared between them must have been strong and unshaken, because when he speaks of her one can tell he is totally committed to her, and the princess expressed her devotion to him when she said, "I am my beloved's, And his desire is toward me" With that statement she said I am his and his alone and he is mine. This quote can be found in the masters handbook of life, love and law, the 7th chapter of the Song of Solomon.

Now, here's a question for you. How many of us can describe our wives or girlfriends in a way that will truly do them justice and paint a picture clear enough for someone else to visualize what they look like. And, how many couples in the world today have a love that depicts the same Undivided Devotion Solomon and his Princess had? I'm betting the ones who have this type of devotion to one another actually feel like it was yesterday when the got married or together and they have been that way for many years,

More love and devotion of this type would make our world a nicer place to live. Personally, I have been with my wife for 20 years and counting. Once again, these are my opinions, you can agree with them or not. The choice is yours. Until next time. Godspeed
